What my mom thinks of my blog

My mom read the blog and really, really, really loved it and thought it was amazing! She was amazed especially when she read my home page where I talk about how my goal was to improve my grades, she responded “Yes, so true and that’s exactly what you did!” She said, I was determined to improve my grades by dedicating myself by doing my best. She is very happy of how much I have accomplished during the year and wishes me all the best in the years ahead. She also thought that blogging is a great way to express oneself in writing, interacting and communicating with others and this is all thanks to Mrs. Speigelman.

Children working in crops

Dear Senator Hornback,

My name is Randy Cook and I think it is not right for kids all around the world to be working on Tobacco farms for hours in the blazing hot sun. I think kids under sixteen should not be working long hours but instead they should be attending school to gain an education and continue to grow. Not until they are actually over the age of sixteen that I feel they should be more responsible and have a job. Not only are they being mistreated and working under terrible hot conditions but they are also losing out on their childhood. I ask that you think about the harm it’s causing the kids and how it’s affecting their childhood and their future.

Week: 10 Nominate

I enjoyed Nick’s blog because of how much he enjoys the sport basketball, he always tries to do his best and he never gives up. I also understand him because I too love the sport basketball. One thing is for sure and I agree with him is that you should never give, up, whether your trying to get into a college or trying to get good grades never give up!

My Future is Near

My Future is Near and I predict that I will graduate from college, be a professional soccer player, travel all around the world, and have a great family. My future is important to me because I want to have a great life ahead, I want to work hard in order to get to accomplishment my goals. I also feel that if I graduate from college I could have nearly any job that involves thinking and speaking. I also think that if I get a good job I would be able to support myself and my family. I think it is very important to work hard every day so I can be prepared for my awesome life.

My goal to be a professional soccer player is by working hard every week at practicing and doing my best in every game. I enjoy soccer because I challenge myself and I challenge others to work their hardest. By playing soccer I will be able to travel the world and even get to know where my family is from, Mexico and Bolivia. I will also get to know my families culture and other peoples culture. Lastly, I would also want a family like I have know, nice, caring, loving, and generous, this is what a family is all about.

My future is very important to me because I want to be able to accomplish and be the best I can be. I want to challenge myself to go after my dream and be successful in what I do, earn a living and raise a family that will be proud of my great accomplishments. A great future is enjoying what lies ahead, and always being thankful for that great future. I enjoy that I have a great family that helps me to do my best in studies and guides me to do my best. I look forward to completing college, becoming a professional soccer player, and having a great family in the near future.

Week 6: My Visitors

These are two things I love in the world, soccer and my dogs. My favorite hobby is playing soccer, but I do not watch soccer because I do not have the time. I like it because I am so good at it. So are my neighbors. My coach said me and three other kids are the best in the park. Can you guess what the score was on our first game this year? It was 7-3. We won! I also love my dogs Rocco and Puggsy. Rocco is a boy and he is my sisters age. Puggsy is older and she is my age. I will soon post a picture of them in my back yard, so keep looking at my blog.
